Indian Curry Batter Recipe

Indian Curry Batter
ACTIVE 10 MIN; TOTAL 15 MIN + COOKING; SERVES 4Ingredients:
3/4 Cup All-purpose flour
1/4 Cup Cornstarch
1/2 Tsp Salt
4 Tsp Forty Six North Indian Curry – Mild Dancin’ Spices
1/2 Tstp Garlic powder
1 Tsp Baking powder
1/2 Tsp mustard powder
3/4 Cup Milk
1. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
2. Add the egg and milk and combine with a whip until you have a smooth batter. You may need to add more milk depending on how thick you prefer your batter.
3. Coat you fish (or protein/vegetable of choice) and drop into heated oil until a deeper golden colour - remembering the curry will make the final cooked colour a little dark than you would normally expect from a traditional batter - and filling is cooked to preference.
