‘Raw’ simply means the honey* hasn’t been heated or over filtered. Keeping the honey raw preserves the natural variety of nutrients; including amino acids, enzymes, and antioxidants that are present. Though our honey is strained it will still contain traces of beeswax, pollen, propolis.
Expect your raw honey to have a bit of a cloudy appearance, sometimes with flecks and specks dancing throughout it. Raw Honey also crystalizes at a quicker rate than pasturized honey, if your honey crystalizes simply put it in a bowl of warm water until it softens.
